Terms of Use

This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms set out the conditions for using the mobile application "HealthyMap" (the "Service") provided by Artlet Lab ("we," "us," or "our").

Article 2 (Content of the Service)

The Service provides information about restaurants, records of meals and of the body, and information based on those records.

Article 3 (Health and Nutrition Information)

The Service does not provide medical care and is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or guidance by a doctor or other professional.

  1. Nutritional values, calories burned, target values, and other figures shown by the Service are estimates. They may differ from actual values.
  2. Advice provided by the Service is general information and does not take into account the health condition of each individual user.
  3. People with medical conditions, people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and others who require medical supervision should not rely solely on the information from the Service, and must consult a doctor.
  4. We are not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from use of the Service.

Article 4 (Restaurant Information and Allergies)

  1. Restaurant information shown by the Service includes information obtained from external services and estimates made by artificial intelligence. We do not guarantee its accuracy or that it is up to date.
  2. Do not rely solely on information from the Service regarding allergies or other dietary restrictions. Always check with the restaurant whether an item is suitable. We are not responsible for any harm to health caused by information from the Service.
  3. Opening hours, prices, menus, and other information may change.

Article 5 (Age Restrictions)

  1. The Service is intended for people aged 13 and over. People under 13 may not use it.
  2. If you are under 18, please use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian. The same applies to purchasing a paid plan.
  3. The Service includes features for managing weight and recording meals. It is not intended to be used by people who are still growing for the purpose of excessive weight loss.

Article 6 (Accounts)

  1. Users are responsible for managing their own accounts.
  2. If you delete your account, the recorded data cannot be restored.

Article 7 (Posts)

  1. Users may post reviews and other information.
  2. Posted content is made public to other users.
  3. When posting, users shall not include the following content:
    • Content that is contrary to fact
    • Content that slanders others, or that damages their reputation or credibility
    • Information that can identify an individual
    • Content intended for advertising or solicitation
    • Content that violates laws or regulations, or that is contrary to public order and morals
    • Content that infringes the rights of third parties
  4. Users grant us permission to use the content they post for providing, improving, and promoting the Service.
  5. If we determine that a post violates the preceding paragraph, we may delete it without prior notice.

Article 8 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not engage in the following conduct.

  1. Conduct that violates laws or regulations or these Terms
  2. Conduct that interferes with the operation of the Service
  3. Unauthorized access, or analyzing the Service
  4. Conduct that infringes the rights of other users or third parties
  5. Using the Service for commercial purposes (unless approved by us)
  6. Any other conduct that we deem inappropriate

Article 9 (Paid Services)

  1. The Service offers paid plans.
  2. Prices, billing timing, and whether a plan renews automatically are as shown on the purchase screen.
  3. Paid plans renew automatically unless you cancel. Please cancel from the settings of the App Store or Google Play.
  4. Refunds of fees already paid are subject to the rules of the App Store or Google Play. We cannot issue refunds directly.

Article 10 (Changes to and Termination of the Service)

We may change the content of the Service, or end its provision, with prior notice.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

  1. In providing the Service, we do not guarantee its completeness, accuracy, or usefulness.
  2. We are not liable for any damage incurred by users through use of the Service, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence.
  3. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, where we are liable, our liability is limited to the usage fees the user paid to us for the most recent 12 months.

Article 12 (Changes to These Terms)

We may change these Terms. If we make an important change, we will notify you within the Service.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
