Privacy Policy
This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
Artlet Lab ("we", "us") sets out this privacy policy for how information is handled in the mobile application "BoothLog" (the "App").

2. Our approach
What you record in the app (checkouts, tallies, items, prices, images, journal entries, settings and so on — "your records") is stored only on your device.
We do not collect your records. Your records are never sent to our servers. The app has no account registration.
The app connects to the internet only to show ads and to check purchases (see section 4).
3. Information stored on your device
Your records are stored on your device and are deleted when you delete the app.
When you choose "Export", the app turns your records into a file and hands it to the destination you choose. You decide where it goes; we are not involved.
4. Information sent to external services
The app communicates with external services only for the following purposes.

Ads. Ads are shown only if you have not made the purchase. Only non-personalized ads (ads not based on your interests) are shown. The app does not use advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA). On iPhone, the app does not ask for permission to track you across other apps and websites.

Purchases. Payments are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your credit card or other payment details. The app only checks whether you have made the purchase and stores the result on your device.
Transfers abroad. The recipients above are companies based in the United States, where data protection rules may differ from those in Japan.
Your records themselves are not sent to these recipients either.
5. Device features
- Camera: used to scan QR codes for linking and to take photos of items and journal entries. Photos are stored only on your device.
- Photos: used to pick images for items and journal entries.
- Nearby communication (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, same network): used by "Record together" to exchange records with devices nearby. Records go directly between devices and never pass through our servers or anyone else's.
The app does not collect your location. On Android, a "location" item may be shown because of how nearby devices are discovered, but the app neither collects nor stores your location.
6. Sharing with other people
Records you share through "Record together" or by handing over a file are stored on the other person's device. We cannot delete records that have been passed to someone else's device.
7. Analytics
The app does not use analytics or any tools for collecting usage data.
8. Age
The app is not directed at children under 13.
9. Your requests
Since we do not hold your records, you can view, correct and delete them within the app. For questions about this policy, please contact us at the address in section 1.
10. Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. If we make important changes, we will announce them on this page.
